Our Next Adventure

We got into Nice early this morning. Not much sleep was had on the plane so we are a little tired out. We did get to walk around the city. My first impressions is Nice looks a lot like New Orleans with the shuttered windows and rod iron balconies. I have taken some pictures with my iphone so I will upload them for viewing on my Twitter and Twitpic accounts. Check out the right side of this blog for it. We are going to head out and catch some of the Roddick vs Murray tennis match. The TV in the hotel doesn’t have it on. More later.

I was walking through a church in Berncastle, Germany (2007 trip) and saw this:

All I could think of was the Westford Knight. Maybe they had it all wrong, he is not a Scot, but a German. Supposedly the Westford Knight was around before Germany existed, so how does Berncastle fit in?

Posting from my iPhone. I am getting the hang of posting to my blog from my iphone. It is a very cool thing. This will come in handy on our European trip this summer. Places we are to travel to: Nice, Cannes, Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Luxembourg, and Paris.

We are at the Wrenthem Outlets…. Yippeeeeee.

Here are some pictures that will give you a look at the floor. The baseboards around the cabinets still need to be complete, but the the stove is in. I also need to paint the trim and add hardware.

We are almost done. The stove needs to be put in and the baseboard molding around the cabinets need to be added. I haven’t been taking pictures the last few days, waiting for everything to be complete. Our contracter did a great job! If you need some work done, Peter is the guy. Here is the evolution of our kitchen, so far.

The cabinets are installed. We need to pick out hardware. Tomorrow the ceiling lights will be installed and maybe the microwave. They will also start the floor. Here are more pictures.

Here is the first look at the new cabinets. Do you like the color of the walls? The install is about half done.
